Wage comparison between Portuse and Lithuanian wages

Here is a very short comparison between the wages in both Lithuania and Portugal. The two values considered are: minimum and average.

Minimum:

• Portugal - 450€
• Lituânia - 231€ (800 LTL) (51% of PT)

Average:

• Portugal - 804€
• Lituânia - 648€ (2237 LTL) (80% of PT)

As you can see the numbers of the "minimum wage" can be somehow misleading since that the minimum wage of LT is 51% of Portugal but the reality is quite different as the "average" values prove to be much close to each other since the average wage in LT is somehwere around 80%.

This is quite interesting because if you notice the increase between the two values (minimum and average) is quite differente from country to country:

• PT - Average = Minimum * 1,78
• LT - Average = Minimum * 2,79
